The Power Of A Single Vote

While all the politicians, celebrities and paparazzi are going crazy on this quotation ' One Vote Can Make All The Difference', all the chill niggas are growing more skeptical on the credibility of this statement.
And the answer to this question is...
.
.
.
Wait for it...
Hell Yeah!!!
It does make a difference..!!
In fact, It can make a lot of difference..!!
The decision of invading and killing the poor, innocent Germans was taken just because of a single vote majority. Can you imagine the opposite of this happening if just one person stood for the Germans rather than the horror? The world would have been a different place, heaven maybe.
You might be thinking, it is just a single case, but just see the next topic to get your mind blown.
There are a number of situations across the globe where the success and failure differed by a single vote. It had a fair amount of share in India too.

From my considerate amount of research I can assure you thatC.P JOSHI, an INC party leader will agree to this point more than anyone else in this largest democratic country.
  • In 2008, CP Joshi lost the RajasthanAssembly Elections contesting from Nathdwara constituency with a single vote. He managed to secure62,215votes while his competitor surpassed him by just one vote, securing62,216votes.
  • It doesn't end here guys. During those elections, he was considered to be one of the toughest and lead-running candidates for Rajasthan's CM chair. His dream couldn't be fulfilled as he lost in the election to a person who considers C.P JOSHI as his mentor with a ' single ' vote difference.
  • And the saddest part is, he stopped his daughter, wife, and driver from casting their vote so that the family can pray for his victory and the driver to accompany them. Yes, talk about bad luck in front of him but don't talk about your opinion that a single vote doesn't count.
I know what all the Stephen Hawking's students here are thinking, ' Is he crazy, the odds are like one in a million ', let me tell you that the odds you were born are 'One in 2 million to 200 million'. So if you were born, which I'm sure about, then there is a chance that 'A Single Vote Can Make The Difference '.
So drag your body from laziness and spend an hour in a noble cause that might even save your life and your surroundings. You will be proud of what you did too.

That One ETERNAL Problem In Middle Class Youths

"It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting." Paulo Coelho, Quoted in 'The Alchemist'. Sure, it does sound fairy and exciting that one has to chase and pursue their dreams and give a meaning to one's life. And in contemporary lives, we also have great examples to support this way of thinking like Zuckerberg and Gates. It might be your family or your friends (except for Asians)pushing you to chase your dreams, while hell of a lot of movies, books, motivators sometimes even babas force the Asian kids to chase their dreams. Dreams are like medicines which allow you to feel and they actually make you better. But the contrary situation would be taking too many medicines which will destroy the basic senses. So one must be aware and know when to stop. I may not be a qualified doctor in this topic but I want to be your local drug store pharmacist in this situation and help you in deciding when to stop. Just because you ...

The Curious Case of Sheena Bora

Imagine this! Follow my words clearly. A lady is convicted of killing her daughter from her first marriage with the help of her second husband because the daughter was in a relationship with her third husband’s ex-wife’s son. Confusing & shocking, right? This is precisely what happened in Indrani Mukerjea (formerly known as Pori Bora): the mother. On April 24, 2012, Sheena Bora (the daughter who got killed) took leave from the office, and by the evening resigns from the company over an email and never returns. The office doesn’t care . Why would they? The boyfriend/ Husband - Rahul Mukerjea (there has been no/little evidence that they got married) gets an SMS that she is going out with her mother and would be back the next morning. But instead, switches off her mobile, and disappears. When he probes in, Indrani tells him that Sheena went to the US because she isn’t happy in the relationship. Just like that! But he cares and tries to file a complaint with the police, but police do h...

The Monk who set himself on Fire

We all have seen people dripping in kerosene, matches in their hands, screaming that they would kill themselves if their demands aren’t met with. We all have witnessed instances like this since years either in movies or on the news. This is called ‘Self-Immolation.’ This article is about how this act of burning oneself has become an iconic act of rebellion worldwide. The United States of America (USA) has always been a dominant country but of course - just as any country would- lost some. While a conventionally educated US citizen would disagree and point out things like, ‘It wasn’t our war, we were just helping. That’s what powerful friends do’ or ‘What we have achieved even though we lost the war is important’, there are four/five debatable losses. But the one in the context is the Vietnam war(1955-1975). Back when North Vietnam and South Vietnam existed (Reunified in 1975), the Communists backed North Vietnam and the anti Communists backed South Vietnam kept fighting for...
